Day 151: May 31

Took a trip to the New York Botanical Garden and saw many beautiful flowers! However, it was this Golden Hakone Grass which really caught my eye! I love the pattern exhibited here and when you are standing above a large quantity of it. It looks so soft, yet fringy (yes, I am describing a plant as fringy, or, having a lot of fringe). This foliage retains its beautiful green color from Spring through Fall and it is of Japanese origin.
