Today marks the halfway point of my 2014 365 project!
I can’t believe it’s been 6 months. It seems like just yesterday I was in my pjs trying to take a creative picture of my camera’s LCD screen facing Reagan airport. Taking a photo every day just seems natural now. Sometimes it’s hard during extremely busy times, but it has become routine, like brushing my teeth. It’s just something that has to be done or else you feel really bad if you don’t do it.
Halfway through the first 6 months, my life turned upside down with my sudden move to New York. It’s been an extremely busy time since then but I’m hoping that since I’m more settled now, with home and with work, and because the weather is finally nice, I’ll be able to really take advantage of the opportunities I have to take great shots. There will be days where all I do is drive to work, work nonstop, and drive home, and somehow I have to find something new to shoot for the day, but it only forces me to think outside the box.
During the next 6 months, I hope to challenge myself more with some Photoshop project weeks and creative shooting techniques. I appreciate all the support you’ve all given me the last 6 months and hope you’ll stick with me to finish out the year. There’s still plenty of growth to be had. I’m already thinking about what to do next year, and will have that figured out by year end.
Today’s picture is of one of my favorite pairs of shoes. These are Kate Spade Keds and they fully encompass the “Red, White and/or Blue” theme of this week. I plan to wear them on Friday for Independence Day. I’ll be on a boat (I think) and so a nautical style is fitting. If you like them, you can buy them by clicking THIS LINK. They are even on sale now. Lucky you!
