A lot of the American Northeast woke up to snow this morning, and parts of the mid-Atlantic were no exception. I’m currently in Richmond, VA and woke up to a beautiful wintry scene. I tend to baby my camera but I figured it was the perfect opportunity to face the elements and photograph something that (thankfully) doesn’t occur too often. In busy areas, the snow doesn’t stay untouched for long; but here, with the large yards aligned against a golf course, there are acres of pristine snow. It’s too pretty not to like. Even Bella the pooch was super excited to go out and play. She was running around like a crazy dog but she sat long enough for me to capture some shots.
As I write this at around 4pm EST, most of the snow has melted and it looks as if the winter wonderland of this morning was all but a dream.
