This was too fun not to share. Those of you who use Snapchat might be aware of the fun new selfie filters, like the never-ending rainbow tongue or the blue-eyed angel. I thought it would be fun to get the cat in on the mix! Here’s a snapshot of Sammy doing his thang in the fish tank!

Have you heard of the adult coloring books? They seem to be all the rage right now and I had to jump on board – it’s right up my alley! I bought a mandala coloring book from  Michael’s and I love it! There are 46 different mandala designs and each page is perforated so if you make something truly beautiful, you can easily remove it from the book to frame. Not only is coloring fun, it’s a great stress reliever!

I signed up with a local photo lab and got one of my favorite photos from Hawaii printed on metal. Metal prints are my new favorite way to display photographs, and I was so pleased with how it turned out. I ordered an 8×12 with an easel stand instead of a float mount, but it would look great on the wall as well.

Walking along, these flowers caught my eye. I liked the contrast of the white against the green foliage in the background. What I didn’t notice when I took the picture was the little bug on the top of the bunch! Do you see it?

When you haven’t eaten lunch, but dinner is too soon to eat anything substantial, what do you eat? Frozen yogurt!!

This statue can be found on Wilson Blvd. in Arlington, VA. It’s always nice to see something so fun and colorful amidst the more mundane office buildings.

For those of you who are fans of “The Bachelor” franchise, you know that it airs in January, with it’s complement “The Bachelorette” airing in May. Beginning in August is, as of this year and last year, “Bachelor in Paradise.” What’s a fan to do when BIP ends in September and “The Bachelor” doesn’t start again until January? Watch Season 1 of “The Bachelorette Australia”! I started watching today and it’s actually really great. It currently airs on Wednesdays and Thursdays in Australia and it’s a few weeks in, so I’m a little behind but catching up. It seems much less dramatic than the American version but is still entertaining to keep me watching.
