Food, Fur, Flowers, Festive, Fun…

I still can’t believe it’s November! In 9 weeks, my 2nd 365 Project will be complete. Let’s keep it going ’til then. 🙂

A must when you’re in Korea is dining at a Korean barbecue restaurant. You grab a group of friends, sit at a barbecue table, either standard or on the floor, and grill some meat for all to share. Dip the meat in some ssamjang, add in whatever bon chon you want, wrap it in lettuce, and it’s good to go. I wanted to show my mom and stepdad what Kbbq was all about, so we went to a local Korean restaurant and did it up. Mandu, Cass, bulgogi, galbi…it was delicious! It’s not something I can have too often these days, but it was a nice treat to share. The restaurant even had a fantastic market attached that transports you to Korea. I seriously felt like I was in a grocery store in Cheongju; there were all the same food items on the shelves, from the cookies I bought for one of my cooking classes, to the plum candy, to the gochujang and seaweed, and even to the slippers. There were a lot of Japanese goods as well.

I always find this cat perched in the cutest poses.

Oh, the Bella. She loves to get all the attention.

"What are you doing? Why aren't you rubbing me?"

I took this using manual mode in poor lighting on my LGG4. A bit grainy but not terrible detail on the flower. I’ll have to experiment some more.

Gotta be quick with the animals, but my LGG4 managed to get his adorable face in focus when I took the shot on a whim. Awesome! And asfsdljlsdkj he’s just so cute.

Only a week since Halloween but Santa is already at the local mall. Oy. He’s really stepped it up this year, though. He’s got a huge log cabin produced by Dreamworks, and Shrek and friends are there to assist on your journey to the North Pole. This includes interactive games and a 4D sleigh ride. Where was all this 20 years ago? Looks like there’s 14 of these around the country, perhaps at a mall near you? Check here.

    • That’s exciting you are almost done with your first! I’m definitely not going to do a third year and worry about the same thing. Maybe I’ll just focus on photo challenges and whatnot. Still working that out! 🙂
